Dear Parents,
February has finally arrived! Please make sure that even though the temperatures have been a little warmer that they have the appropriate gear for playing outside.
I have enclosed a copy of our class list so that you may begin to work on Valentine’s. Our classroom party will be on February 14 from 10:00-11:00. Each child will need to bring a box to put their valentines in.
Next week in:
Communication Arts: We will continue working on r controlled vowels, silent letters, sequencing, irregular nouns and verbs.
Spelling: A practice list is in the Friday folder!
Math: We are working on an addition and subtraction with regrouping unit! Please practice basic facts at home. I highly recommend Xtra math practice at home EVERYNIGHT! Another fun math practice website is Splashmath. I sent home username and passwords last week.
Social Studies/Science: We are working on a Landforms unit. I have enclosed a study guide for our continents portion of this unit. We will work on this next week and test the following week.
