Trustworthiness
What does that mean to you?
Today's assembly covered February's word: Trustworthiness: confidence in the ability, integrity, character, and truthfulness of others. We had to postpone the assembly scheduled last week due to bad weather.
Community winner is Gloria Klingner. Gloria graduated from Putnam County School as did her four children. Seven of her grandchildren are now in PC schools. She is true Mizzou fan, enjoys watching her grandkids at their sporting events, going to cattle shows, traveling, cooking, and gardening all keeping her very busy. She has been married to her husband Tom for almost 48 years now. Mrs. Klingner has been a valuable help in past substituting as needed and was a special help to Mr. Garber during his first year as principal. Today she explained to middle school student the importance of being someone with whom you can share something without fear of it being repeated. She also emphasized keeping the doors of opportunity open as young people make choices.
Good attitude winners: These students have shown good attitude in the classroom and amongst their peers. They will receive 2-10 point bonus coupons with their certificate. Thank you for being a great example for everyone at Putnam County R-1.
