Magnet Exploration
Third grade students began a study of forces by working with magnets. The students went to six different stations in the room to observe the properties of magnets. They also learned about how magnets repel and attract. They learned how to magnetize other materials by using a magnet. During the rest of the unit, the students will learn about static electricity and complete other hands-on activities to enhance their scientific knowledge.
