FCCLA Competes at State STAR Events
The Putnam County FCCLA competed at State STAR (Students Taking Action for Recognition) Events held in Osage Beach, MO with much success. The Putnam County FCCLA had two members who created various projects for judging. Students developed a range of items including research portfolios, presentation boards, and oral presentations. The State STAR events were held in conjunction with the FCCLA State Leadership Conference. Therefore, students also benefited from conferences lead by FCCLA’s state officers and other inspirational speakers. Putnam County students received awards at state and are as follows:
