    Tuesday evening, second, third, and fourth grade students performed in front of friends and family and under the direction of Mrs. Dinwiddie. She has taken multiple weeks to prepare students for their performances. Mrs. Dooley has also taken time to help students create art for the program for their families to enjoy.

    Second grade students performed songs with a patriotic theme, which included America and Yankee Doodle. Third grade students also preformed patriotic songs, but also some folk favorites which included, Old Dan Tucker and I’ve Been Workin’ on the Railroad. Both classes enjoyed playing a selection of musical instruments that ranged from Bongo Drums to the Cabasa.The fourth grade musical performance, also took on a patriotic theme with amazing solo performances mixed in. Those solos included, Augustine K., piano solo, Jocelyn V., piano solo, Alivia R., piano solo, and Madison A., violin solo.

    The Art portion of the program highlighted student projects that they have been working on these past weeks. Some of the art included were ceramic pizza slices, city scene scapes, and dream catchers. Thank you Mrs. Dinwiddie and Mrs. Dooley for putting forth your time and effort in such a marvelous and fun evening!
