Throw Away the "MAP"!
We don’t need a “MAP” anymore. We know exactly where we are going—the end of school!
Today eighth graders finished the math portion of the MAP test. In the eighth grade Algebra class, we had taken a detour from our regular curriculum to review eighth grade standards for the MAP. We will get back on the regular route by completing our year graphing quadratics. The regular eighth grade math classes will finish the year by taking a couple of required post tests and will then do a hands-on project applying math concepts.
It has been an interesting ride, but we all are excited to see the end of the trip.
