This year's theme is The Roaring Twenties. On Friday, our Putnam County Midgets will face off against the Polo Panthers at 7:00 PM at Dave Mitchell Field. But, before the big game, there are a lot of fun and festivities planned to pep everyone up.
Homecoming Spirit Days are happening this week! Some students really enjoy dressing for the occasion. Here's the list of what to wear for Spirit Days during Homecoming week, October 1-5, 2018.
Monday-Pajamas and Hat Day.
Tuesday-Redneck/Country Day.
Wednesday-Jersey/Favorite Sports Team Apparel Day.
Thursday-Throwback/Retro Day (wear old PC alumni attire or dress-up like an iconic decade).
Friday-Blue and White/Homecoming Shirt Day.
*Hats may only be worn on the designated day. All other attire must follow the dress code.
*Homecoming buttons are on sale now for $1.50.
Our Homecoming Court has been chosen and will be introduced at the Pep Rally on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 7:00 PM in the High School gymnasium. Our Homecoming queen candidates are Alisha W, Delaney M, Guin A, Riley R, and Tori O. The Homecoming king candidates are Hollister S, Jacob E, Jordan M, Levi F, and Will W.
Mark your calendars and be sure to attend. Our Grand Marshall this year is Mr. Jim Garrett and he is super excited to pump up our Midget fans for a victory over Polo.
The Color Day Assembly will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 9:00 am in the High School gym. We will announce our Homecoming King and Queen at the Color Day Assembly.
Students, clubs, and organizations have been busy behind the scenes preparing floats and props for the Homecoming parade. The parade will start at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 5, 2018, from the school to the square and back.
There will be a tailgate before the game with the PC Booster Club. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 5th, 2018.
