February 1st Parent Letter

Dear Parents,
Please make sure your child brings a coat, hats, and mittens when it’s cold. Thank you to all of the parents that helped with the 100 Day Posters, they were very creative! Please don’t forget to start making your Valentine’s Day boxes, they need to be here by February 11th! If you want to order from the Book Order it is due February 8th.
Communication Arts: Next week we will start our work on long ‘O’ and Long ‘U’ words. Our focus skill will be on word endings (s,ed,ing). We are finishing up writing our biographies.
*We completed our autobiographies and incorporated the Green Screen effect, you will have to check them out on the school’s web page when we get them uploaded, we are waiting for a few more to finish :).
Math: We are getting ready to start Topic 8, Understanding Place Value. I will also be adding 9s next week to our flashcards.
Science: Weather
