Physical Science In Motion
Mr. Watt and his Physical Science students have been busy this quarter looking into the effects of motion on objects. They have conducted a series of lab investigations lately to learn more specifics about how gravity influences objects as they accelerate down ramps and as they swing at the end of a pendulum. Interestingly enough, many of their results have demonstrated an acceleration due to gravity here at Putnam County that is very near or identical to the accepted rate.
