First-Grade Patriotism Strong at Putnam
Ms. Fenton had a former student from Newtown message her and tell her he is stationed in Kuwait. After talking to him for a bit, he asked if Ms. Fenton could have her class send letters for a morale boost. Ms. Fenton and Mrs. Blankenship's First-Grade students got right to it! The students wrote letters to the troops, drew pictures, and sent donations to boost morale. We hope our troops enjoy this project as much as the students did.
