Falling into a Routine

It actually felt like a fall morning as I walked into school today. The passing of time is reflected not only in the weather but also in that we have settled into a routine and have an understanding of what it takes to move forward. All classes except pre-calculus have tested so that is one less unknown.

The pictures with this article show a geometry class working together on an activity which introduced finding area on the coordinate plane. We have since moved on and are getting familiar with the laws of logic which will lead to proofs. After testing over prerequisite skills next week, pre-calculus will move on to unit 2 which covers functions and graphs. Algebra class is in the middle of an inequalities unit so will be testing over that the second week in October.

I feel pretty positive about where we are right now in the classes. If you have concerns or questions, please feel free to contact me at dmallette@putnamcountyr1.net.
