Professional Development Day
Ever wonder what teachers do for Professional Development day? Several times throughout the school year guest speakers are invited to impart their knowledge on various topics to help us all become better at our jobs. We have enjoyed learning about dyslexia, communication and technology tips, student safety and mental health, and a variety of other topics.
Yesterday, we used some of our finest resources for information, our very own teachers. We really do have some of the best educators around. Several teachers shared in small groups with topics on the following: Special Education, Flipped Classrooms, Promethean and Whiteboard Utilization, Curriculum Development, Classroom Data Collection, Mastery Learning, Vocational Education, and much more.
