We’ve Got Chemistry
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, early to mid-February is the perfect time to finish up the chemistry unit in Mr. Watt's physical science classes! After learning about the atomic structure, the periodic table, and chemical bonds, students have started studying chemical reactions. They recently learned a new meaning for a mole, and have done an outstanding job of demonstrating their understanding of the law of conservation of mass as well as introductory stoichiometry. They are presently preparing for the final assessment of their chemistry knowledge prior to jumping into the world of physics.
