Coach Fitzpatrick Shares His Love of Reading with Fab 5
To start off our Read-A-Thon for Read Across America week, Coach Fitzpatrick spoke to the 5th grade students about his own love of reading. He started off by pointing out that billionaires such as Mark Zuckerberg, Mark Cuban, Warren Buffet, and Jeff Bezos, have not only their wealth in common, but they are all avid readers. Coach Fitzpatrick shared some of his books with the kids and answered several questions about reading and the things he has learned from reading. He also shared with the young readers about why he LOVES reading. Not only did he encourage the students to read more, but their teachers were encouraged also. Mrs. O'Reilly even swapped books with Coach so she could read one of his.
