Dear Parents and Students,
I hope everyone had a great summer. It has gone by so quickly. Please note the changes that have occurred in the elementary for the 2007-2008 school year.

* 1st grade- Joy Butler, Jaci Rhoades, Marsha Richardson,
* 2nd grade- Connie Wood, Mary Roberts, Dee Robinson
* 3rd grade- Donna Gibson, Angie O’Reilly, Gayla Whitworth
*4th grade- Traci Hurley, Mui Myers, Shelby Quint
*5th grade- Joy Collins, Camille Preston, Jenna Sivetts
* Special Education- Mary Bartram, Maureen Ferry
I am very pleased to inform you that the elementary school has purchased the Houghton Mifflin reading series for the 2007-2008 school year. This is a K-5 program that encompasses phonics, spelling, vocabulary development, reading and writing. We are very excited about this program and the success that we hope our students will achieve from this reading series.
The elementary open house was held on Monday, August 20th. It was nice to see you all.
