Mrs. O'Reilly's Third Grade Class would like to thank the PTO for their latest donation to our school. The PTO gave each elementary teacher a donation to purchase supplies for his/her classroom. This year our classroom purchased playground balls to use at recess. We also purchased colored pencils and markers to use as we illustrate the books we are publishing.
In past years, our classroom has purchased books for the classroom library, a CD player for the room, and individual CD players and headphones so students could practice their reading fluency. One year, our classroom purchased board games for inside recess because our other games were worn out.
Our PTO helps our school in many ways. The next fundraiser is the Scholastic Book Fair. It will be held the week of February 27. Be looking for more information regarding this future event. We appreciate everyone's support of the book fair and our PTO.
