What Does It Mean To Be Crushed?

Have you ever been crushed? No! I don’t mean that kind of crushed but the kind of crush that happens every FCCLA week at PCR-1.
The week of Valentine’s Day every FCCLA member sells hearts for a $1.00 that is redeemed for a Crush Soda pop. Students and teachers alike buy hearts that are sent to their crushes (friends and loved ones) via FCCLA members. The hearts can hold messages from the sender with a name included or they can go anonymous. Whichever way they go the receiver is able to redeem the heart on Friday for their Crush Soda Pop.
FCCLA officers Emily, Sara and Danielle cheerfully redeemed the hearts of all the students and adults who received them. Many Crushes were redeemed on Friday, February 12 of this year. Love was flowing that day from beginning to the end of that Crush Soda Pop.
To be Crushed at PCR-1 during the week of Valentine’s Day is not a bad thing on the contrary it means you are loved!
