I am beginning my tenth year of teaching. This is the seventh at Putnam County R1. My classes include Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and ACT Review.
I grew up in Lanark, IL, a small town very much like Unionville. My husband and I moved to Unionville in 1985 as David accepted a position with the Farmer’s Bank. I graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State) in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science – Mathematics.
Our daughter, Lynette, was born March 1, 1989. I began my teaching career in August of 1990 in Bethany MO. When our son, Derek, was born August 7, 1993, I became a full-time mom. I continued in that roll until the fall of 2001 when a position opened in the Math Department at PCRI.
I love my job and have an open door policy. I am available for questions any morning. This fall I am also coaching the girl’s golf team and will be available for after school tutoring once the season is complete.
I thoroughly enjoy my job and hope to positively influence the youth of our school community.
Whether you are a student or a parent, please feel free to contact me with questions.
