The fifth grade band is coming along quite well. They have all learned how to assemble and disassemble their instruments, how to hold their instruments properly and have begun to play their first note as a class. As the year progresses, I see many promising musicians forming In the 5th grade class and I look forward to what is to come!
After marching band season, the music program prepared for and participated in the Veterans Day Assembly. After the assembly sixth grade through high school began to work on Christmas Music for our Christmas program. The sixth grade plans to perform at least two Christmas tunes, which are coming along quite nicely. The seventh and eighth grade mixed band is preparing two Christmas Medley's for their portion of the program, the high school choir is beginning to polish their four songs for the Christmas program, and the high school band is preparing three Christmas pieces.
