Future Teachers of America is a club that offers insight into the teaching profession. Students get to job shadow and enroll in a cadet teaching class. Job shadow is for one day, while cadet teaching is for the semester and/or year. Dues for this club are $5. Students must be a member of FTA the previous year before being able to cadet teach. FTA sponsors the Christmas dance in December.
