Bus Safety

Transportation Director, Mr. Allen Tipton, discussed bus safety with elementary students this morning, (Wednesday, August 23). Students learned the proper way to get on and off the bus avoiding the "danger zone." Students were also told that the safest place for them to be while on the bus is sitting in their seat, not standing, not walking, and not in the aisle. We appreciate Mr. Tipton sharing this information with us each year in order to help keep all students safe while riding the bus. I encourage you to ask your students what they learned today and to discuss with them how to be safe on the bus.
