A Tooth-rific Afternoon
Mrs. Fenton's, Mrs. Hamilton's, and Mrs. Blankenship’s Classes
Last Friday the first grade classes had a special guest stop by Brooke Robinson, a student from Hillyard College located in St. Joseph, Missouri. She shared with them the benefits of healthy, clean teeth. Students enjoyed learning about good and bad foods that could help or harm a healthy lifestyle. She also discussed activities with them that promote healthy living. The students even learned a special song that goes with Row Row Row Your Boat that helps them brush their teeth effectively. At the end of the day the students were given their very own toothbrush and toothpaste! A special thank you goes out to HyVee for providing these supplies to our students.
