Former Putnam Athlete Returns as Coach
Putnam County is pleased to announce our newest addition to our coaching and teaching team, Mr. Brian Mayer.🙌🏻 Coach Mayer was born and raised in Unionville, MO and graduated from Putnam County R-1 High school in 2003. Mr. Mayer put his traditional education on hold in 2008, when he joined the Army. He served as a Military Police Officer for 8 years. Coach Mayer married the love of his life, Cheryl👰🏼, and together they have two boys, 👦🏼👦🏼 age 3 and 1. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with family, enjoying the great outdoors and hunting🦃🦌🦆. Coach Mayer is excited to be here at Putnam, and is looking forward to teaching physical education and coaching football 🏈and track🏃🏼♂️🏃🏼♀️.
