Welcome to 8th Grade Math!
We have completed two days already in our eighth grade math classes. The goal has been to make sure everyone is informed on procedures for success. Yesterday I went over in all classes the tutorial aids which are available on the online Big Ideas curriculum. I would encourage students to educate their parents on these helpful tools.
Communication is paramount for everyone's success. I have asked students to stop me and ask at the very moment any confusion begins so I can adapt at that moment to assist learning. I understand that students do not learn the same way and my goal is to come along side each student and assist them to be successful. Any student who desires individual help is welcome to come to my classroom at 7:30 a.m. and after school.
