Adventures in Banking
On Wednesday, September 19, the Accounting I class eagerly left school to get a tour of Farmers Bank of North Missouri in Unionville. The students were escorted behind the scenes through the computer room, vault, filing room, and offices to get a first-hand view of how a bank functions. As the tour continued the students were able to ask questions about how a bank operates, learn more about employee job duties and education requirements for certain jobs. The students appreciated the opportunity to get out of the classroom and see first hand, items they were learning in the classroom. Thank you Farmers Bank!
