Fall Fun in Transitional Kindergarten

Fall is always more enjoyable when you have a party to pass the time.  October 31 was not only Halloween, but our school had fall class parties.  Our room also had some added fun with the day, because we were also able to have our first classroom incentive party.  In our room, we keep track of our positive behavior points. I do this by adding pom-pom balls to a jar on my desk.  When our jar is filled, the students get to vote on what kind of class party they would like.  This was our first time having an incentive party since we have been focusing more on individual behavior at the beginning of the year.  The friends in our room voted between having a stuffed animal party or having a costume party.  The costume party earned the most votes and how fitting to do that on Halloween.  Great fun was enjoyed by all!
