Thank you to each grandparent that was able to attend. The children really enjoyed getting to visit and show their grandparent’s their classroom.
If you did not return the Santa letter, please return it Monday, December 9, 2019. If I do not have it, the paper will not be able to print your child’s letter.
You may send the stockings and items for our party to school before December 13th if you have them.
I have a pair of black muck boots that have been left in my classroom for a few weeks. I thought I found the owner, but unfortunately the boots were not theirs. The little boy that is missing his has an older pair of muck boots. They are all black and have a rounded toe. I am asking for all parents to check their child’s muck boots. I’m hoping it is a case of mistaken muck boots and the little boy can get his boots back.
Behavior: We work on behavior everyday in school. We work on remembering school rules.
Math: We will be starting a unit on classifying and counting data.
Communication Arts: We will continue with the letter “h”. We have also been working on the sight words: I, see, like, my, we, the, and me.
Check Backpack Daily at Home & Friday Folders Every Weekend:

Please remember to check your child’s backpack every evening for any homework that needs to be completed and returned to school (this will especially be important starting after the fair). Your child’s promptness on returning finished homework will be reflected on their grade card.

It is also important to check and empty their Friday folder every weekend—there are often important notes, letters, etc. for you to review as well as homework that needs to be completed. To those of you who are already doing this, thank you SO MUCH!!! I sincerely appreciate all of your support and dedication to your child’s education!
Reminders/Upcoming Dates:

Every morning students may come to the classroom upon arriving to school and drop off their backpacks outside our classroom door. Then they are to go to the gym/elementary steps area where they may get ready to go outside (weather permitting) from 7:55 - 8:05 a.m.

Please remind your kids that we are in Kindergarten now, and they need to give me any papers, notes, Friday folder, or lunch/milk money that may be in their backpack. I remind the kids to look every morning, but if they don’t know a note is in there, they may not go look. So far, they are doing a great job with this! 😊

Early out on Friday, December 20 for Christmas break.

No school December 30-January 6 for Christmas break.

January 6th no school for teacher PD.
