What have we been learning in 4th Grade?

We are off and going into learning. Mrs. Williams' class is reading informational texts like Scholastic news articles. We then can write wonderful paragraphs to summarize what we have just read by telling the main topic and giving supporting details from the article. We will be moving into comparing biographies and autobiographies very soon. In math, we just finished up factors, multiples, and prime and composite numbers. Going on to fun fractions! Of course, I have a great group of kiddos that received awards at the end of January for academics, behavior, and several for their character.
