Launch the media gallery 1 playerMarch has been recognized as Music In Our Schools Month since 1973. This year, I am making a bracket for students to vote on the best songs. I have included everything from “The Git Up” to “William Tell Overture”. Every week I will update the winners, we will see who wins the “whole enchilada” at the end of the month. I hope this inspires our students to listen to more than just popular music outside of the music classroom. Most of the “classical” songs I have chosen are very popular. You will hear them on the tv, during movies, on radio advertisements, etc.
