PCHS Class of 2020 Senior Spotlight: Olivia V.

Our next Senior Spotlight is Miss Olivia V! Olivia's plans after graduation: "My plans after graduation are to attend MACC for 2 years and then transfer to another college to go for two more years and get a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Olivia's activities and awards throughout her high school career: Softball, FTA (Secretary), DECA, God's Squad. Olivia's favorite memory at PCR-I through the years: "I have loved all of my years at Putnam, from preschool to senior year, so it's going to be hard to pick just one, but I've loved my senior year as a whole. It isn't what I had in mind with everything going on, but I have still enjoyed it very much and still think we all can go far, even after this set back. If I do have to pick just one memory, I would say it would either be my senior softball year, or the field trip my junior year where we went to the State Capitol." Olivia's favorite quote: "Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared" -Buddha Olivia's words of thanks: "I've been watching "the big kids" ever since I was little, and now I finally am there. Now the younger kids are looking up to "my grade", seeing what they should do. I have to say that I am pretty happy with my senior class. We are one of the biggest classes in the school so there's a lot of people the young kids have to look up to and I am proud of who everyone turned out to be, from when "we" were in elementary, amazed by the big kids, to now, actually being them. Thank you to all of my class for being who you are and never giving up, even in times like these when it's little tougher. Also, a big thank you to all of my family for always being supportive and being able to give me advice. Thank you to my parents for always being there for me and being amazing role models in my life. Thank you to my grandparents who cheer me on in life and at games and are always there for me, and give me more motivation... (specifically my Grandma Bonnie who checks in every day to see if this is turned in yet!)"
