Junior High Girls' Basketball Season Concludes
After a busy November and December, the Putnam County Junior High Girls concluded their season with an A-team record of 4-11 and a B-team record of 1-11. During a season like no other, the team experienced some ups and downs, but the girls worked hard and really enjoyed playing basketball this year. Many girls stepped up when it was their time to play. It was a challenging year night-to-night, but the girls had a great attitude.
Toward the end of the season, when more players were available, the girls were in some very close ball games. Coach Savannah Ruby was an assistant coach this year and Matt Klingner served as Head Coach. We would like to wish the 8th-grade girls the best of luck and look forward to working with the 7th-graders next year.
