61st Annual Milan Invitational Tournament: January 11-16, 2021

Update 1/15/2021: Games scheduled for Friday will now be played on Saturday. Our girls play at 10 and the boys at 11:45 am. The tickets for Friday will work for Saturday morning. You must have a ticket to attend. You may also view the games on Milan C2 Schools YouTube.

 

Update 1/14/2021: Putnam County Varsity Girls are scheduled to play on Friday, January 15th, at 2:30 pm. The Putnam County Varsity Boys are scheduled to play on Friday, January 15th, at 7:45 pm. You must have a ticket to attend. You can also view the games on Milan C2 Schools YouTube.

 

The 61st Annual Milan Invitational Tournament will take place January 11-16, 2021. You can click on the links below to view the tournament bracket and fan guidelines. Everything is a little different this year with many safety precautions and limited seating in place to help mitigate COVID-19. You must have a ticket to enter. Each visiting school is limited to 70 tickets.

Milan Fan Guidelines & Procedures

 

Milan team players will receive 4 tickets each. Home seating is located on the North bleachers and stage. Milan home fan seats are marked with Xs for physical distancing in 4 person family groupings.


Visitor team players will receive 2 tickets each. Visitor seating is located on the South bleachers. Visitor fan seats are marked with Xs for physical distancing in 2 person family groupings.


Admission Cost = $3 Students/$4 Adults (Seniors 65+ and Preschool/Younger are Free).

ALL PEOPLE MUST HAVE A DESIGNATED TICKET FROM A PLAYER TO ENTER. THIS
INCLUDES YOUNG CHILDREN. TICKETS NEED TO BE SHOWN AT THE GATE AND TO
ENTER THE GYM. EACH TICKET IS NUMBERED/LABELED FOR BOYS OR GIRLS GAME.


Live-Stream: All Milan Home Games will be Live-Streamed on Milan C-2’s YouTube Page.

OLD GYM Game Schedule Details:

GIRLS GAME
5:00 PM = Teams May Begin Warming-Up. Fans with Girls Game Tickets may begin entering the gym.
5:30 PM = The 4 Quarters of Varsity Girls Basketball will be played. The opposing team’s boys players will be put in a classroom (Mr. Cole’s Room) to view the game via live-stream if early. They will be given a locker room key as well. They will not be in the gym until after the gym has been cleared and sanitized.
(AFTER THE GIRLS GAME IS COMPLETED) GYM CLEARED AND SANITIZED =
Immediately after the Varsity Girls Game is completed, the gym will be cleared and sanitized.
Parents should wait and meet the girl players outdoors at their vehicles to limit congestion.
Fans with tickets to both games will wait in the New Cafeteria until the gym is ready.
NO ONE IS ALLOWED IN THE GYM WHEN IT IS BEING SANITIZED.
**When sanitation is completed, fans with boys game tickets may begin entering the gym. If these fans arrive BEFORE the Girls Game or BEFORE sanitation is complete they
will be instructed to wait in the new cafeteria until the gym is ready for the Boys Game.**


BOYS GAMES
7:00 PM = When sanitation is completed, the Boys Teams will be allowed to have a 15 Minute Warm-Up. This time is dependent on when the Girls Game is over and the gym is sanitized.
7:15 PM = The 4 Quarters of the Varsity Boys Basketball Game will be played. The opposing team’s girls players will be put in a classroom (Mr. Dodson’s Room) if they are riding the same bus to watch the live-stream. No players will be allowed in the gym to watch the boys' game without a boys' ticket.
