Holiday Fun!
In December, we had our holiday celebration and the students had a full day of activities, reading, movie time, presents, games, and relaxation. The students built bridges out of popsicle sticks as part of a STEM activity. They designed the bridges using the engineering process. Also, students spent time during our READ-A-THON reading their favorite books. They used their new socks and blankets to keep them warm and cozy. We watched a holiday movie and relaxed in between different activities for some downtime. Students donated to the holiday party which allowed us to purchase lots of gifts and snacks for the students during their celebration. We had plenty of games including saran wrap games, charades, and bingo. Finally, we cleaned up and relaxed before heading home for winter break.
