PCHS Art Students Receive Recognition at the State Capital
To celebrate Youth Art Month, the Missouri Art Education Association hosts a Statewide Art Exhibition at the Missouri State Capital. (Due to COVID-19, this year's exhibition is virtual.) I am pleased to share that four Putnam County students are currently being represented in the online exhibition; Tori G., Grace R., Ethen R., and Jenna B.
I am also pleased to announce that two Putnam County students are award winners. Tori G. (Senior) was awarded the Governor’s Ladies First Choice Award, handpicked by our First Lady. Tori’s artwork will be framed and on display at the Governor’s Mansion in Jefferson City until next March. Grace R. (Senior) was awarded a District Award and will receive a gift card from Missouri Alliance for the Arts.
All four of our students representing PC will receive a certificate and have their work on display online, see the link below. Having artwork at our State Capital is a major achievement and accomplishment for students.
Check out the Google Slide Show link to view their work or peep our photo gallery.
Congratulations, students! We are #PutnamProud of you!
