National School Nurses Day

The past 14 months have been crazy. A pandemic, contact tracing, quarantining, educating, measuring the distance between desks, and all of that in addition to a regular workload of caring for over 600 students.
School nurses perform health assessments and screenings.
They care for minor injuries and illnesses.
They provide health education.
They manage students' chronic conditions.
They help identify threats to students' health.
And they provide so much more with a smile, a band-aid, and some encouragement.
Help us celebrate Ms. Stephanie today! We are grateful for her and for Ms. Bonnie who fills in when Ms. Stephanie is away.
