Students Learn About Soil in First Grade.

Students in Mrs. Blankenship's First-Grade class completed a soil activity that was sent to them by Missouri Agriculture Education.
Our kids learned about the 3 layers of soil: topsoil, subsoil, and bedrock.
They used graham crackers, Oreos, and pudding to represent the layers with gummy worms under the topsoil. After learning about the different layers of soil, they enjoyed their delicious treats.
