Senior Spotlight 2021: Kelsy Sells

Help us celebrate PCHS Class of 2021 Senior Spotlight, Kelsy Sells!

Kelsy is the daughter of Catherine and David Sells.

What are your plans after graduation? “My plans after graduation are to attend NCMC for two years. After getting my associate's degree,I plan to transfer to Northwest Missouri State University and finish my bachelor's in Business Management.”

What’s your favorite memory at PCR-I? “I have made millions of memories at Putnam County but the one the sticks out the most would have to be my junior year finishing with first place in both traditional and timeout divisions at the MCCA Cheerleading Championships. I will forever be grateful for all the memories and opportunities that cheerleading has given me.”

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? “I would like to eventually start my own business in Real Estate and/or Interior Design.”

What is something you want people to know? “I have been a cheerleader for four years and a captain for two years. I have been on the track team for four years and the Color Guard team for one year. I have also been a member of DECA and the PC Advertising Class.”

What’s your favorite quote? My favorite quote would have to be “Be the change you wish to see in the world”- Mahatma Gandhi

What’s your advice for incoming freshmen? “My advice for incoming freshmen is to be present and live in the moment. Before you know it, high school’s over, and you can't go back. There are no do-overs. Live during your high school years so you have no regrets.”

Congratulations, Kelsy! We are #PutnamProud of you!
