Ready for Another BEE-utiful Year!

I am excited to start another year at PCR-I Schools! My family and I enjoyed our summer. I hope your family did too! My family stayed busy with swim team, practicing every morning and going to meets in various towns. We also enjoyed kayaking at the lake. My son Brant decided to have his little Yorkie, Brownie, join him this year. Mostly, we enjoyed the easy pace of summer.

We also worked in a few opportunities for fun in Putnam County. Both kids participated in the 2021 Color Dash 5K, sponsored by the Advertising Class. Finley was wrapping up her first year of JH Track, so she really enjoyed another opportunity to run. Baseball Camp with the PCR-I State Champs was another highlight. Brant brought his friend Denny over to camp. Each day I picked them up, there were smiles ear-to-ear. Lots of fun! Now we have the Putnam County Fair to enjoy. Both of my kids love animals and projects, but they are probably looking forward to the rides and funnel cakes the most.

I will continue sharing more speech-language information and activities with you during the 2021-2022 School Year. Please click my personal page on PCR-I Schools Website for regular updates. Also, feel free to contact me via email (dheine@putnamcountyr1.net) or phone (660-947-3361ext391) if you have any questions.

Our theme this year is “Be the one who is…”.  This compliments my PCR-I staff shirt saying from last year, “Be Inspired” and my new Bumble Bee Theme. If you peek at my room, you will see many bees taking flight, ready for another great school year. I am excited to “Bee” the one who is…inspired by the love of learning we have at PCR-I Schools!
