Fabulous Start in First Grade
We are having a great start in Mrs. Hamilton's first grade! We have worked diligently on learning our classroom's expectations and procedures. Together we created our Big 3 rules: Be responsible. Be kind. Be respectful.
Students did a wonderful job at coming up with ways to follow each of these rules as well as things that did not fit our rules. They noticed that many things that were kind were also responsible. One of our biggest challenges is learning to use our time effectively by not playing with our desk things, daydreaming, or chatting with neighbors.
