The Tradition Continues
Mr. Allen Tipton spoke with the FAB 5 classes on Friday to teach the students about our country's flag and how to fold and care for the flag properly. This tradition was started many years ago by former teacher and veteran, Mr. Duane Crawford. The fifth-grade students will now be responsible for raising and lowering the flag at the elementary flagpole this year. Two fifth-grade students who show citizenship, responsibility, and reverence in this privilege, will be presented with the flags at the end of the year.
