Getting Messy in the Art room

Preschool is practicing our shapes and colors. In Kindergarten we have been practicing lines and now we are working on our fall Indian corn project. As you can see from our photos we get into our artwork. :)  First grade is showing school spirit by completing Homecoming Flags. Then we will work on our paper pumpkins to make a class pumpkin patch. Second grade is learning about mixing 2 colors to get a new color & making our papers into a paper weaving. Clay pinch pots are fun to make with our 3rd grades. They did a great job! Fourth grade is venturing into radial balance. We are very patriotic in fifth grade. Students are learning about symbols that represent the United States of America.

Artwork inspired from the visiting Hot Air Balloon. So much fun!
