Middle School Character Education Assembly: November 2021

On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, we celebrated our Middle School Character Education Winners in the Middle School Auditorium. Student Council President, Bentley McCormack, led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Then, Mr. Garber and Mrs. McCollom handed out awards to our November Character Education winners. For the month of November, the character education word was Citizenship. Having good citizenship is defined as the sense of belonging to a community and having the rights and responsibilities that come with it. Defining traits of good citizenship include being honest, compassionate, respectful, responsible, and taking pride in their community and accomplishments.

Our Character Education winners for Citizenship will receive a t-shirt, a concession stand voucher, and a plaque. The winners are:

  • 6th-Abigail Overton

  • 7th-Cameron Cullom

  • 8th-Calvin Ruiz

Our Good Attitude Winners have shown a good attitude in the classroom and amongst their peers. They will receive 2-10 point bonus point coupons with their certificate. Thank you for being a great example for everyone at Putnam County R-I!

  • 6th grade-Ethan Bears

  • 7th-Lyllian Stout

  • 8th-Emily Naughton
