November 2021 PCHS Character Education Assembly

On Monday, November 29, 2021, we celebrated our PCHS students in the middle school auditorium with our monthly awards assembly.

Mrs. Klinginsmith recognized sophomore, Jude Watt, for being our character education winner for the month of November, exemplifying good citizenship. Congratulations, Jude!

Mrs. Klinginsmith announced our 3nd PC MVP Winner, Ms. Debbie Mallette. Mrs. Mallette was nominated by her peers and was one of the 4 finalists for the month of November for PC MVP. Congratulations on winning PC MVP! Mrs. Mallette goes above and beyond, almost always the first to arrive at school, helping students with math tutoring and preparing for the day. She is dependable, helpful, and is an excellent team member! Congratulations, Mrs. Mallette!

Brandon M was selected by Mrs. Watt to be the November Reader of the Month.

Miss Claire Tipton was selected as the Career and Technical Education winner of the month for October. Claire holds several offices in many high school clubs and is a leader in and out of the classroom. Congratulations, Claire!

Several students were recognized for their academic success in the classroom.

Students were reminded to keep their grades up these last few weeks of the semester. Mrs. Klinginsmith also let the students know that in addition to Winter Formal, there would also be karaoke added to the mix for the evening of December 3, 2021.

We wished our Competition Cheer Team the best of luck at State Cheer Competition on December 11-12 in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Mrs. Klinginsmith wished our basketball teams a great season and encouraged everyone to attend and support our band and choir for their concert on December 3.

Best of luck to our FFA teams participating in the FFA Coon Hunt this weekend.

Mr. Watt and Interact members are helping with kids' games at Winterfest this weekend. Winterfest is a fun event for all. Be sure to get out and enjoy it.

Keep up the good work, PCHS!
