Putnam County R-I Schools is now accepting applications for School Bus Route Driver, Substitute Drivers, and Trip Drivers. 

Qualifications:

•Must be physically able to operate a school bus.

•Familiar with Putnam County and/or able to learn the bus routes.

•Must have Class B School Bus Licensure for Missouri or be willing to train to get certified

•Considerable knowledge of safe and efficient practices and procedures used in the operation of a school bus or willingness to learn

•Considerable knowledge of traffic laws and school bus regulations or willingness to learn

•Ability to help physically inspect the bus according to Transportation Department Operating Instructions

•Ability to exercise tact and courtesy in contact with parents/guardians or students and with school personnel
