Michelle Booth: Teacher Spotlight

🥳In honor of #MIOSM (Music in our Schools Month), our next teacher spotlight is Mrs. Michelle Booth!

🎼Mrs. Booth graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, Missouri, in 2006, and began working on her degree in Instrumental Music Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and later transferred to the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg where she earned her degree. Michelle has since started, but not yet completed, her Masters of Music Education with an emphasis in conducting.

👩‍🏫Mrs. Booth currently lives 30 miles south of town with her daughter, Audrey, who is in Kindergarten this year! When Mrs. Booth is away from school, she loves to watch sci-fi/fantasy movies and enjoys going to see live music. Her favorite thing to do with her family is visiting the lake, swimming, boating, etc.

👩‍🏫Fun fact: Mrs. Booth's middle school band director inspired her to pursue a career in music education!

🎼Join Mrs. Booth and all of the middle and high school music students on April 9 for Evening with the Arts.

🙌Thank you for choosing music education, Mrs. Booth. We appreciate you!
