PCHS Class of 2023 Senior Spotlight: Tessa Gillis

🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼‍🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Miss Tessa Gillis!
🤍Tessa is the daughter of Josh and Chrissy Gillis.
💙Tessa's favorite quote: "Growing up is not being so dead-set on making everybody happy."-Reba McEntire
💙Tessa has participated in FFA for all 4 years of high school, as well as Color Guard. She also played Softball for 2 years and girls' Golf for 1 year during her high school years.
💙We asked Tessa what her advice would be for incoming freshmen. She said, "Don't wish away what you might think are the longest four years ever. Time is a thief."

😂Tessa's funniest memory from high school: "The funniest memory from Putnam was my senior year in golf and just about any golf trip in the gray Transit."
👩🏼‍🎓Tessa told us, "After graduation, I plan to attend North Central Missouri College and continue on to Missouri Western State University to major in Criminal Justice."
💙We asked Tessa what her favorite class was at Putnam. She told us, "My favorite class at Putnam would have to be Ms.Tosspons' fourth hour because of the environment."
😎When asked where she sees herself in 5-10 years, Tessa replied, "In 5-10 years, I see myself graduating from college and living around the area, working in a law firm, coming home to my family."
👧👦Tessa told us about her most memorable moments: "The most memorable moment for me would be placing at band competitions for the color guard for the first time since 2017."
💙We asked Tessa what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on her and why. She replied, "Nancy Owings, because of how dedicated she was to help students with not only the class work she passed out but as well as any life problems an individual may have had. She reached above and beyond to help a student in any way." Congratulations, Tessa! We are #PutnamProud of you! #pchsclassof2023 #PutnamProud
