🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Miss Ivy Foster!
🤍Ivy is the daughter of Lana Burley.
💙Ivy's favorite quote: “Hope when you take that jump, You don’t fear the fall. Hope when the water rises, You built a wall. Hope when the crowd screams out, It’s screaming your name. Hope if everybody runs, You choose to stay.” One Republic
💙Ivy played soccer for 3 years in Las Vegas before moving to Putnam her Senior year. She earned a Smart Cookie award while in high school at PC.
💙We asked Ivy what her advice would be for incoming freshmen. She said, "My advice for incoming freshmen would be to stay out of drama and don't trip. It is fun and goes by quickly."
👩🏼🎓Ivy told us, "After graduation, I plan to take a gap year before going into the military."
💙We asked Ivy what her favorite class was at Putnam. She told us, "Mr. Watt's Science class was my favorite class at Putnam because once I started paying attention it became really easy and fun and all in all a good time."
😎When asked where she sees herself in 5-10 years, Ivy replied, "In 5-10 years, I see myself working and serving in the Army and maybe starting a family."
👧👦Ivy told us about her most memorable moments: "My most memorable moment at Putnam is when the animals came and I got to get pictures with my little brother Caleb and the animals. I loved getting the pictures with my little brother and I loved being at the same school as him even if it was just for a little while."
💙We asked Ivy what teacher or staff member at Putnam has impacted her most and why. She replied, "Mrs. Klinginsmith has had the biggest impact on me because she was real with me when I got in trouble and helped me so I could graduate after moving from Vegas.
💙Ivy tells us, I love music and my family, and it feels like the nicer you are the more of the world you can learn to love. No matter how much life brings you down, you can always find the light. I have found that with my mom and brother."
