Mrs. Fitzpatrick's Science class is learning that there is more to our bodies than what meets the eye.  As we begin our unit on Human Body Systems, students will take an "inside" look at eight different systems of the body.  We have many learning activities planned including reconstructing mannequins, interactive SMARTboard activities, a "Beaker Babies" project, and an investigative paper over problems that occur within various body systems.  

Students seem to be enjoying learning about "real life science."  This unit is great because they can put what they've learned to use throughout their entire lives.  Who knew science could be so practical?!
