The Resource Science class recently made slime and besides the mess they really enjoyed the hands on approach. Once each week the class tries a hands on experiment and this was one of their favorites. The class figured out that when using ingredients sometime a better quality ingredients will yield better results. For example, the Elmer's glue was better than the School Smart brand. When the slime was about done each student was able to add their favorite color of food coloring which gave each student a decision and say in the process. After it was complete they put them in freezer safe bags to take home.
