Putnam County FFA Wins Area Battle of the Chapters

Putnam County FFA Chapter was the winning Area III FFA Battle of the Chapters team.

Twelve  members of the Putnam County FFA Chapter attended the Area III FFA Battle of the Chapters competition at Long Branch Lake in Macon on July 30th, 2015.  This activity is a recreational activity designed for FFA members from area schools to compete in fun competitions and various games.  This year’s games included:  volleyball, sand castle building contest,, tug-O-war, and minute to win it relay.  The Putnam County FFA members did well in the competitions, which resulted in a first place finish by the Putnam Team.   Highlights of the day included winning the sand castle contest and placing first in Tug-O-War.  Katelyn G also helped coordinate the activities of the day in her role as an Area FFA Officer.

    Those attending for Putnam County FFA were:  Devin V,  Hunter H, Katelyn G, Stephanie D, Brianna V, Ashlyn S, Derek L, Lizzy H, Tanner B, Tyler R, Megan H, and Katey H.  Also attending were FFA advisors Randy Morris and Clyde Bondy.
